Post Op Day 5.

Finally someone did something to my nose. Not sure is it a good or bad thing, need to get fully recover before I can comment anything. But right now, my nose is secreting disgusting brown-with blood streaked kind of secretion. eeek, and my throat hurts really bad...unable to breathe, talk or eat properly. ):

So that day was really...scary...when the time is reaching, they got me changed into some kimodo kind of clothing and then there's this pair of ah ma slipper...ahhhh faint. After which they brought me to the entrance of the operating theatre and ask me to lie on the trolley bed which they gonna transport me around with.

Soon enough it reached the induction room...weird feelings. I mean I have been there before, as a student? And now I'm the patient...the operation before mine was delayed hence I waited a good one hour over there. The anesthetist then set a iv plug for Me to run some saline...and then the surgeon came by to explain procedure.

At 2.30pm, the horror part came. They pushed me in to the theatre...imagine there're so many of them preparing themselves with so many instruments sound here and there. Next moment I know, is the anesthetist giving the sedation alrdy. Everything happened so fast! The last thing that I remember before I found myself in the recovery room is the medicine that they gave me thru the iv, because it was so painful that I remember trying to push the anesthetist away.

Time checked- it was 4.11pm. Slept for another hour before I'm fully awake enough to transfer me to the ward. yes- WARD! I didn't even know i will have a ward in the first place. Lol as soon as I reach the ward...first thing is to tell the nurses I need to remove the drip and the iv plug! It's hurting! I mean in pediatric ward we check every hourly to make sure the drip is running or is there any swelling of the plug but apparently no one is doing that over here. My plug is obviously swollen and no one takes notice of that...I supposed they are really busy then. Hurried the discharge and home sweet home.

Thank you B for being with me throughout the day. I really have no idea how you manage to spend the hours in sgh while waiting. Thank you for taking care of me.
